Wilbers sanded and re-stained all of our chestnut trim about two years ago. It was varnished with black, and now is more like you would expect chestnut to look. We did not do our stair treads. They did some light repairs too, although we weren't looking for perfection. The outcome was quite nice.
Ask for Nicki, she did our estimate and Henry was the guy who did the work. We had a very good experience. http://wilberspainting.com
Thanks, rowerg. I also got a quote from Tomicki. Does anyone have feedback on them? I'll be calling his references, but haven't gotten to that yet.
Can anyone give me a name of someone who can refinish my stairs AND strip/paint my banisters and spindles?
