Flood Watch for tonight, Thursday April 30

The NWS has posted a Flood Watch for tonight, Thursday April 30.

Heavy rain and possibly a thunderstorm overnight could produce flooding of small stream and poor drainage areas. Use caution when driving tonight and early tomorrow morning. Those living in flood prone areas should prepare to take action should flooding occur.

How are the winds up there?  On the Eastern Shore of MD the winds are steady at about 25 to 30 mph with gusts a lot higher than that.  It has been awhile since I have seen the patio furniture (and even the grill) get pushed from one side of the deck to the other side.  It started late last night and it isn't showing any signs of stopping any time soon.

weather.gov says 1.5 to 2.5 inches of rain, but doesn't mention wind.

OTOH, PSEG sent out a high wind warning, with gusts up to 50mph

Storm was a bust for the most part.

Not that I am complaining
