Facebook Is Down Globally
Forget Trump and North Korea--this is the beginning of the End of Times! And I cannot even get onto Facebook to post about it!!!!

Can't wait to see what they say happened (and am highly doubtful we will get the whole truth).
From experience in dealing with major online services (Google, AWS, etc.) that do give incident reports, they're usually pretty dull and it'd end up being something like a failure of some redundant networking equipment somewhere. These guys are on top of their game, so problems are almost always a result of something out of left field. It's rarely anything as exciting (or stupid) as the stuff that goes on at a large corporate company like Equifax or NHS where they actually have made horrible IT management choices.

My part of Australia is on AEDT, which is UTC + 11; NJ is on (US) EDT, which is UTC -4. = 15 hours difference.

Yeah but the flight takes 22 hours, so you also have to be louder. Shouldn’t be too hard for an Australian.

It is crashing all over the world right now.
Sometimes you can get on but when you try to do anything it freezes. Most of the time it does not even load.
Very unusual for their system to crash for so long a period of time.
