Drupal instruction

My workplace uses drupal and they want to change the way it looks and so do I. Problem is no one knows how to use it. Does anyone have enough familiarity to teach me how to change the layout? I'm willing to pay or barter for a few lessons. I watched the Lynda.com lesson but I learn better if someone shows me and can answer questions. So anyone?

Thanks Tom but i found that site as confusing as the video tutorial. I think it's useful if you already know the terminology which I don't. I guess no one else knows here?

tom (the guy whose name is tom here) is a drupal person. No idea if he's available.

But, um, what is confusing about that community page? There are various online groups on that page where you can ask your questions.

My spouse does Drupal (but doesn't have time to consult). His input is that this could be very confusing for a beginner because your website layout is probably using style sheets within Drupal, and this may not be quick or easy to learn.
