Does Kim Jong-un give Trump a wedgie when they meet?

I think there is a good chance of it.

I can't imagine Kim agreeing to scrap his nukes for anything less than an end to any U.S. military presence in South Korea.  And a lot of people simply don't believe that Kim would scrap his nukes under any circumstances.

I personally think they're going to be measuring each other's buttons.

In all honesty, I could see him making a case to his base that South Korea should start defending itself. He could incorporate that into his America First rhetoric. I think it would please Putin to see us withdraw our troops from South Korea.

Putin and Xi Jinping would be more than pleased if Trump withdrew our forces from S.Korea.  He shouldn't do it for free, however.  There need to be some meaningful commitments from N. Korea.

And how do we trust NK to keep to its commitments? China could promise to "ensure" commitments but would they really ensure when needed?

Reminds me of the Ukraine. In return for giving up its many nuclear weapons, Russia, the US and other committed to the territorial integrity of the Ukraine. We see how that worked out.

Lately, commitments seem to be vaporous. Like our TPP and Paris accord commitments. Its also likely we will dishonor the nuclear freeze deal we committed to with Iran.

Kim has a legitimate complaint against trump. He asked why Trump was making fun of him, calling him little Rocket man..."I never made fun of Trump, calling him a fat, old and senile."
