Cat escaped- have you seen her?
Escaped cats usually stay and hide within a few yards of the house. They get out, get scared, then find a place to hide.
Look in and around neighbor's garages and sheds and under porches.
Happened to me. Left side door open for a few hours and suddenly there she was.
I did recognize of course that someone else may have come in.
