Can You Help a Local Soldier?

A local soldier, currently based in the Pacific Northwest, with on and off jaunts to the the Middle East, left her two cats in the foster care of a friend who has found herself in an untenable living situation. The friend is asking for help in finding a new foster for a few months.  The solider will be returning sometime between October and December this year.

Normally, I could foster for a few months while standing on my head but with kitten season in full swing, I have a crazy amount of cats and kittens in my care both at home and at my factory; I simply have no room.  Do you have a spare spot to give these cats a safe resting place for, say, eight weeks, until I get some free space? All costs will be covered. FWIW, the cats are currently living peacefully with a small dog. They are young, fun cats; one is a 18 months, the other about three years. Gentle.

Wish I could.  Good luck.

Seer Farms in Jackson may take them..BUT, there was a charge against the people that run it.  I don't think they engaged in abuse, but rather there was an oversight because they just couldn't manage the number of animals they had.  But if you get desperate, worth looking into.

I reached out to one of my foster contacts and she generously agreed to foster the soldier's pets during the deployment.
