Best job boards for IT and InfoSec professionals. Also, recruiter recommendations please.

Hi All

I’ve been using LinkedIn for my job search.  I’m in IT Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC). That’s essentially establishing and monitoring data protection / risk management practices. I am a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) with ten plus years experience. LinkedIn has yielded some interviews, but I should broaden my search. Anyone have any recommendations on getting traction on other boards?  Indeed didn’t seem to offer much in my field. Does anyone still use Monster?

Also, I’d welcome any recommendations for recruiters.

As a CISA you are likely a member of ISACA, if you other certifications you may also be a member of e.g. (ISC)2.

Job boards are probably not the best option in this field, networking within professional associations should work much better. 

Thanks for that tip tpb. I'm a big believer in networking myself. So, I'll keep at it. Just was trying to expand my target.

I agree with tpb, being part of an organization or just networking in a group that targets your field, is a good bet. Don't give up on LinkedIn. I know some folks who connected with jobs on this site. Even though I'm not looking, I had HR Recruiters reach out to me on jobs. I never used it but LinkedIn has a premium choice where you pay a fee and they update you on jobs available in your specific field.
