Wow, send this story to the Village Green and Maplewood Matters. I think they would love to post this feel good story and the publicity will be good for Beacon

Last weekend the nurses who care for my wheelchair bound mother-in-law called me with a concern. It seems my MIL's fingers were suddenly swelling and her wedding ring and engagement ring were now so tight they were causing extreme pain. Something had to be done - fast.
Because of the wheelchair we can not take her out of the facility on a moment's notice. We needed a solution to come to her.
I called Beacon Jewelers, in Maplewood village, at 3:00PM on Saturday. They closed shop at 3:30PM, put away all of their jewelry, got in a car and drove to Winchester Gardens with a special tool. They met my husband , cut off the rings, refused to be compensated for their VERY GOOD DEED and rode off into the sunset.
How great is that? That is what makes this town so great, folks know each other and take care of each other. As you can see, that applies to the business owners as well.
Thank you again for your kindness Beacon Jewelers, you went above and beyond!!
