WOW. Those are unbelievable photos.
At this point, new young eagles have left the nest - more or less. They come back in the evening, and I think that they are still looking to the adults for some food. Today Tabby and I took our kayaks and rode down the South Branch of the Raritan, which took us just to the base of the tower with the nest. We saw one adult and one of the fledglings.
On the way there, we saw both a blue heron and a number of turtles.

The eagles are nesting. Haven't seen them for a few weeks, but caught them on Monday.
Nest is at least 4-500' from the road. This photos are the best I can do with a 500 mm lense.
