AUDITIONS for an original Steampunk Opera: 'Beethoven's Wrong Note'

The Strollers are seeking strong singers and actors for a world-premiere pop-rock opera debuting at The Burgdorff Center for the Performing Arts this May.  Performance dates are May 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18 at 8 pm, and May 12 and 19 at 2 pm.

Roles are as follows:

Trouser role - Jakob Haibel, ages 35-45, operatic mezzo soprano

Joseph Rockel, ages 20-30, dramatic tenor Primo Uomo

Anna Milder, ages 19-29, dramatic soprano Prima Donna

Peter von Braun, ages 40-50, bass

Johanna Ries, ages 18-25, soubrette soprano (pop-rock)

Carl von Beethoven, ages 25-35, tenor (pop-rock)

Ludwig von Beethoven, ages 30-40, bari-tenor

ALL AUDITIONS TAKE PLACE AT THE BURGDORFF CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS, 10 DURAND RD, IN MAPLEWOOD; dates/time: Monday March 18th, Tuesday March 19th, and callbacks Wednesday March 20th - OPEN AUDITIONS ARE FROM 7-10 PM EACH NIGHT: Please bring a headshot and prepare one song or aria to be sung with accompaniment - bring sheet music.
