Alternative Outdoor Pool close to MPL?
With a car, it is doable. Though not close. But special.
How much is Maplewood Pool up to? It was about $400 in 2013 when we moved to South Orange.

Someone I know from Mwood uses the indoor pool. I don't know if there are restrictions on nonresidents for the outside pool.
Along the same lines, there is an adorable (small-ish) public pool in Orange, just down the street from Mountain Station in Metcalf Park. Not sure what the rules are for non-residents but it might be worth checking. Not 100% sure they are opening this summer.

No restrictions for non-residents. My daughter and a friend would use the lap pool during winter when JFK converts to an indoor pool for additional training for their swim team.
Was only $15 for the year. Totally worth it.
It is too expensive to join the MPL pool this year.....are there any outdoor pools close by that are open ?
