All time FAVORITE MOL post?

A post about the closing of Kings mentioned the Maplewood Pathmark and I was reminded of a comment by a poster who may have been lost to history that, "aside from the rotten hamburger in the meat department, it was a great store".

That remains my all time favorite, what are some of yours?

(not a single post, but) ctrzaska's bat thread

greenetree's cat's name (approx):  Ashby, but that's his middle name.  His whole name is Goddammit Ashby Get Down.

I always enjoyed Defcon Creator's posts about his beloved bunny Nugget and miss his stories about bonding with the wild bunnies in his yard.

The Highland Place neat nachos thread is the GOAT.

Not pretentious enough.

Nietzchos, now THAT'S pretentious.

1. Maplewood Mousey Theater post - about a "dead" but not really dead mouse in the popcorn at the Maplewood theater - it was beautifully written and absolutely hilarious.

2. As was ctrzaska's post about the bat in the house. So funny! Sad in the end, if I remember it all, but the account of the bat was brilliant!

Both probably 10+ years ago, but oh so memorable....

There was a thread about Thanksgivings that was sad, but hilarious.

Not a nomination, just memories: I loved the joint reading threads (Alice’s Restaurant, or The Declaration of Independence). And then the wild few months of the joint fictional writing threads, a sentence or two at a time. Remember the steamy character Pablo, or John or whatever his name was???  smile  rolleyes question question question

campbell29's Ambien posts.

The Matzo Charlotte exchanges between Sbenois and Library Lady.

The 9/11 threads.  The Reval threads.  Just two examples of how we came together as a community to exchange information and provide support to one another during times of extreme stress.

Amen re PhilC's "Strangeness in the Universe" thread.  Not sure if it was there, but around that time there was the Dante - inspired MOL poster , which was an all-time favorite.  @jamie - is that still accessible?

So years later I finally got around to preparing it for him. I brought it over to his kosher for Passover home  but did he ingest? I probably think not!

Oh, and I miss Strawberry.

The tetherball thread.

Is a thread a post? A post a thread? How about just the post? Or a quote from a post? What y'all think?

That was Brett Malibashka (sp?). He passed away. It was all very sad.

No one's going to stop you one way or another.

Some threads are hilarious throughout. I find the funniest ones were started by someone who was new, and started out bashing some local business or individual.
