Alarm system using VoIP

We are within about a week of "cutting the cord". We will have internet and plan to port our phone over to Ooma. I have a long list of things I need to do, but I totally forgot that my home alarm system is wired to my veriozon fios number. I am assuming that skinnying down to internet only on fios will knock the alarm monitoring out. What are my options? I am assuming I can add something to my alarm system to send the alarm signal via wireless to the monitoring company. Are there other options? (Yes, the other alarm thread prompted this. In fact, I probably would have cut the cord and found this out the hard way). Thanks in advance for your help.

Your verizon voice line is on FIOS, right? That is already VOIP. Do you use the old house wiring for the phone line? If so, you have to break the connection between the verizon equipment and that wiring. Then you connect the Ooma equipment to it.
