A large-ish table for a couple of hours?

Any ideas on where I could go in NJ to have a table to spread out and organize photos and documents for a couple of hours? I'd need to do it with another person or two, so a library is probably out, unless they have private rooms. We want to be able to talk.

Not asking anyone to take us into their homes, would prefer something less intimate than that.

Maplewood library has a private room...or at  least they used to....used it about 10 years ago for a meeting (i wasn't running it)....i don't know if they charge though

Maplewood library does still have a private room, and it has a large conference table in the middle of it.  I don't know if it's open to the public other than for library sponsored programs, but it certainly can't hurt to ask.

Morrow Church might also have a room that could meet your needs, again can't hurt to ask.

The meeting I went to wasn't town sponsored.  It was a business meeting for a business not associated with Maplewood at all, except for having some clients in Maplewood.

This may seem strange but I recommend the Dunkin Donuts on Morris Tpk near Bed, Bath & Beyond.  It's open 24 hours.  If you go to the right side when you go in there is a large area with tables and chairs.  On the left side there is a kind of nook with a single large table. You can talk, get something to eat or drink and spend as long as your want.      

Most churches have several spacious rooms.  Is any participant a member of any local congregation?

Thanks for a lot of great ideas that I will save for a future occasion. I decided to make the schlepp out of state to better include an elderly participant. Please keep the ideas coming, though...one never knows...
