Gil Hoffman Presents Red States, Blue States and The Jewish State. On Sunday, November 4 at 9:15am, The South Orange Library will host Gil Hoffman, chief political correspondent and analyst of The Jerusalem Post who will present an insider’s perspective from Jerusalem on the U.S. election’s impact on Israel. Gil is well connected to Israeli and Palestinian leaders, having interviewed every major figure across the Israeli political spectrum. He is also a regular analyst on CNN, Al-Jazeera and other news outlets. Locally, Hoffman is the Israel correspondent of the New Jersey Jewish News. Hoffman’s writing and TV appearances provide a behind the scenes look at the intrigue and humor in the Israeli political arena. He was raised in Chicago and currently lives in Jerusalem with his wife, daughter and son. Gil Hoffman has been called “the most optimistic man in Israel” by Israel Television. This event is co-sponsored by Congregation Beth El and Jewish National Fund (JNF) and is free and open to the public. Breakfast will be served.
