This after hours tour looks at early 20th century life, a time of great modernization, through the sparkling lens of the domestic housekeeper. At Craftsman Farms, a small domestic staff meant that household chores were often handled by family, particularly by Stickley daughter Mildred, who wrote about her many responsibilities and daily drudgeries in her diary. In 1911, before modern cleaning supplies, how did the housework get done? How many people did it take? Join us and find out! Saturdays, June 10, June 24, and July 8 at 4:00 p.m. $5 Members and $10 Non Members Advance registration required. For tickets or more information call 973.540.0311 or visit http://stickleymuseum.org/programs/upcoming-programs/original-exhibition.
