Community Congregational Church in Short Hills will hold its semiannual Rummage Sale on Saturday, April 21 from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. All proceeds of the sale benefit Community Church’s educational and outreach programs, including the Oasis program that provides bags of groceries and baby supplies to families in Irvington every month. “The Rummage Sale for Charity at Community Church is an amazing way to help others, no matter how you’re involved,” says Community Church’s Lead Pastor, Rev. Dr. Johann Bosman. “Whether you’re donating items, shopping at the sale, or volunteering, everything goes towards raising money to fund our outreach programs that serve the community.” The Rummage Sale features boutiques for higher-end women’s and children’s clothing, as well as toys, electronics, clothes, sporting equipment, housewares, jewelry, and linens, all at low prices. A large furniture section features quality pieces in good condition for unbelievable prices. Donations of gently used items are accepted 24 hours a day at the designated area located behind the church. TVs, computers, baby car seats, and large exercise equipment cannot be accepted. Community Congregational Church, 200 Hartshorn Drive in Short Hills, is a Christ-centered community, guided and inspired by the Bible, where everyone is welcome.
