CHS School in Action Night

On Wednesday, April 15th 2015 Columbia High School will hold its annual CHS-in-Action Night from 6:30 until 9:00 pm. Columbia’s Student Council is cordially inviting the entire South Orange-Maplewood community, especially middle school students and their parents, to come and see what CHS is all about! At CHS-in-Action Night, the school becomes alive allowing all to take a peek at how CHS students are involved, and just what goes on inside our school. The night will feature performances from groups such as Special Dance, the Shakespeare Festival and the Step Dance Team. There will be demonstrations from the CHS State Champion Fencing team, the CHS Band, and the Acapella Choir. Every group and organization present will have representatives eager to speak to the community members and introduce 8th graders to our CHS family. CHS-in-Action is a great way for middle school students and their parents to see and get excited about all of the amazing activities going on at CHS. Come take a behind the scenes look at our award winning TV station, or climb to the top of our own unique observatory tour and gaze at the stars with the Astronomy Club.
