Celebrate Rosh Hodesh with Rabbi Faith Joy Dantowitz at TBA

Rosh Hodesh is the celebration of the new Hebrew month and is a special time for women. TBA Sisterhood—The Women’s Connection with Rabbi Faith Joy Dantowitz, welcomes all women to join in an evening of learning, warmth, and spiritual growth. 

On Tuesday, May 21, 2019, 7:30 PM, at temple ,  we will gather during the Omer—the period of time when we count the days from Passover to Shavuot. It is traditional to study Pirke Avot—Ethics of our Ancestors. With Rabbi Dantowitz leading the discussion, we will engage in traditional text and modern women’s commentaries on them,  In honor of the approaching holiday of Shavuot where it’s traditional to eat dairy, there will be mini ice cream cones as well as healthy snacks.
