Blues in the Loft is an intimate series of concerts hosted in the casual cabaret-style setting of the SOPAC Loft. Prominent blues and roots artists Brad Vickers and the Vestapolitans, Al Gold and the Suburban Rhythm Kings, and bluesman Bobby Radcliff to perform a varied program of classic and original material spanning the early 20th century through present day. Bandleader, guitarist, singer, artist, designer, writer, promoter, and host Al Gold wears a lot of hats… and does it with style. From New Jersey to New Orleans, from Chicago to the West Coast and back again, Al and his group the Suburban Rhythm Kings have been making music together for more than a dozen years, playing to packed houses and festivals wherever they perform.
