Fabulous Interiors

Many of you are likely to remember Fabulous Wallcoverings — an amazing store that was located in the Main Street Thomas Edison factory buildings in West Orange.

That Fabulous has been gone since 2007, the victim of a downtown redevelopment project. After relocating to a showroom on Prospect Ave. in West Orange, we quietly provided the same services that we always did –wall coverings, window treatments and upholstery — but without the “in-stock” rolls. No longer content to remain quiet, after changing our name slightly to incorporate all the additional things we can offer you, and a complete showroom make-over, here we are Fabulous Interiors LLC.
Combining our former businesses, Fabulous Wallcoverings and A.B.L. Designs gives our customers the best of both worlds, easy local access for all your decorating needs and the experience of a trained interior designer without the extra cost.
It’s a family affair, Fabulous Interiors LLC in operation for 50+ years, was a 3rd generation family run business. Jeffrey Fischman joined them in 1987, having come from his grandfather’s family run business Clinton Paint & Wallcovering.
Upon graduating design school in 1986, Anne B. Linn worked at local wallcovering and design centers. She developed her design skills and experience, joined the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and decided to go out on her own, A.B.L. Designs was founded in 1991.
In 1992 a wallcovering representative decided these two should meet… the rest is history. We married in 1996, and after 17 years we finally decided to work together. In November of 2013 we took “Fabulous” into our own family. We welcome you to join the family too.
When not at the store, Jeff can be found on a bowling alley, he is an avid bowler with more than ten 300 games, or playing with our dogs
Anne brings her love of Arts & Crafts to 3 & 4 year olds at Temple Beth Shalom in Livingston, where she teaches enrichment classes during the school year and is the Arts & Crafts specialist during camp. Anne also makes amazing non- floral centerpieces for Bar/Bat Mitzvah, Sweet 16’s, and other parties.
Volunteerism is important to both Anne & Jeff who have served on the executive boards of local organizations and devoted hours of service to groups such as the National Council of Jewish Women, Livingston Kiwanis Club and The Community Food Bank of New Jersey.
We are currently the parents of 1 rescue dog.
